shortcut keys for facebook

Facebook have some shortcut keys to use there page fast. Normally windows give lot of shortcut keys to navigate very face. Like that facebook also having the built-in shortcut keys. Here is some shortcut keys which make us to work fast in the  facebook.


Home page:


The shortcut key redirect to your home page. This key work both in Firefox and Internet explorerFirefox: Shift+alt+1
Internet explorer : Alt+1+enter

Profile page

This shortcut redirect to your profile page. This will also work in both ie and firefox
Firefox: Shift+alt+2
Internet explorer : Alt+2+enter



Friend Requests:


This shortcut is used to view the friends request given to you by your friends
Firefox: Shift+alt+3
Internet explorer : Alt+3+enter


Messages:


This shortcut is used to opens up the Messages dialog .
Firefox: Shift+alt+4
Internet explorer : Alt+4+enter

Notifications:


This is used to open the Notifications dialog in your browser.
Firefox: Shift+alt+5
Internet explorer: Alt+5+enter

Update:

This shortcut is used to update your Account such as setting, network, notifications, language, payments,Password change not successful.
Firefox: Shift+alt+6
Internet explorer: Alt+6+enter
Similarly use can use 7, 8, 9, 0.
And I hope that most of them will not use that option

Here are some other shortcut keys which will not work in Internet Explorer but work in Firefox and chrome.

New Message:  Alt + M

Mostly some of them sent personal message to their friends using yahoo or Gmail in olden days. But now a day everyone is using facebook to send message.

Search Box:

This shortcut key is very useful for the users to find their friends very easily in the searchbox.
